What if you weren't asking for help? What if you were asking for Backup? Would it be easier to ask for the support you need? With asking for help seen as a weakness, we simply have to change the vocabulary to put an end to the supermom, superdad, and super parent era!
In this episode, Danielle challenges the viewers and listeners to dig a little and see why it is so hard to ask for help and were would they need support right now. Where and when, in your day, could you have asked for backup but didn't? Who would you have asked if you had?
Surrounding yourself with people who will have your back rather than stab you in the back when you call in for reinforcement is crucial. Time to declutter your entourage and build yourself the right village for your family.

Many are still on the fence with positive discipline, still holding on to the way they were disciplined as children. When it comes to something as severe as a child who hits, can positive discipline really work? Or does correcting violence with more violence the way to go?
Danielle walks us through the 3 key points of maintaining positive discipline successfully and the key steps to incorporating this still foreign concept into changing this unacceptable behaviour. Danielle would have been the first one to tell you that this method would not work but, after 20 years of putting it to use in daycare and school settings, she is in a good position to now see the positive results in helping children manage their emotions and maintain their mental health in a good way when they get into their adult years.
